    Default Blown z06 Freak!

My dad and I have had this car as our toy since it was new (only has 3k miles). We've done the work on it ourselves up to this point but turned it over to Leading Edge Performance in Vegas to have a Vortech Si Trim blower installed and tuned.

Long story short, it made "a freakish 667 whp and 591 rwt" on 91 (well over what the tuner expected). I'm in Chicago now so all i have are the pics the tuner took. Expect a video this spring, however. Looking to keep the "sleeper" look for now

Be sure to bring it to SCS, just don't be a one of the typical Vette douches that show up.

Very nice. Always loved c6z's, definitely will own one oneday.

My good friend has a blown, cammed, bolton'd c6z and put down 676 at the tire but I forget the tq, that was at 7psi+meth. How many pounds are you guys running?

That was before the forged motor. Not to scare you but, that [stock] motor lasted less than 24hrs home before she let go...builder said it dropped a valve but we dont really buy it...

The car is super fun to drive OP, almost too much fun. Trying to find traction; however, isnt easy - unless you have some 345 nt05r's

valve dropping is probably the most common reason for engine failures on the LS7. happens to dead stock motors too

Believe me, I know that. Im a vette fanatic.

The reason I say that was because of the way he approached the situation and the stories he told us. I feel as if he was banking on a common failure he thought we would believe...its a long story. You should have saw his face when we came up and saw him after the car was towed back. Not to mention all the excuses and shady stories along the way.
