Maybe my post wasn't clear on that matter. It was intended to be said in the way it is lighter than cast wheels of the same diameter, since we are talking about aftermarket wheels, not stock ones! We can certainly get the official wheel weight of the stock setup, than compare them to this one we posted here! No problem with that really! Once again, my apologies if the words weren't clear enough!

No worries at all. PM replied.
Suffice to say even of the same diameter wheel, forged versus cast does not automatically equate to lighter or heavier. There are many factors as you well know, including wall/spoke/barrel/flange thicknesses, hub design, amount of material, etc.
The simplest answer is just to throw 'em on a bathroom scale as they come from the manufacturer. Perhaps you can compile each of your "lighter than stock" wheels and promote them as a certain model line in vehicle-specific applications.

As you said each wheel build and fitment has different weights, so we would not be able to tout any singular model as lighter than another due to the fact of fitment variations.
Although we did not weigh this particular setup, we have verified the reduction in weight vs OEM Z06 wheels (forged), Viper wheels (forged) and Porsche wheels on a application by application basis and in regards to our classic mesh design (like this one) our wheels have been lighter on EACH occasion. (I weight my stock viper wheels myself against my VS1's to verify this).
No harm done, just thought I'd provide some back ground info as well.D2FORGED Wheels | Inspired by Excellence. Driven by Passion. Defined by Distinction.
