    They're stock ZR1 sizes. 19" front, 20" rear.

And last I checked, the Viper ACR and the Z06/Z07, on the same Michelin Pilot Sport Cups, lapped the Nordschleife within half a second of each other.

    Viper ACR - 7:22.1
    Corvette Z06 w/ Z07 package - 7.22.68

Mind you, the Z06 is much less a track car with much less power than the ACR. The ACR comes with an adjustable wing, adjustable coilovers, and 600hp at the crank. The Z07 has "stupid big" wheels, (crap) navigation, magnetic selective ride control with "tour" and "sport" modes with transverse leaf springs, and 100 less hp. Half a second difference between the two.

Now what makes you think a trackday special Z06 wouldn't be competitive with the ACR X? I'll take the Corvette, thank you very much.

because the Viper that set the record at 7:22:1 is an 08 Viper ACR
    the Z06 w/ Z07 package is a 2011 model that holds the 7:22.68.
It took the corvette guys about three years to get to the ACR time.

But then dodge brings out the ACRX which is actually 640Hp and it's lighter then the ACR plus the 2010 models have a revised/different gearing ratios then the 08 and 09 model.

but I love the White on the Z06 and that Z06x looks nice.

That is flawed logic. It didn't take "3 years" for the Corvette guys to engineer a better car. The tech was there. It was just ZR1 bespoke. And if they ran the cars tire for tire, the ZR1 would have bested the Viper ACR in 2009. They have changed nothing substantial about the ZR1 between the 2009 lap and the 2012 lap save for the addition of Michelin Pilot Sport Cups.

It took 3 years for GM to make the marketing decision to let the ZR1 stuff trickle down, the same way they let the Z06 stuff trickle down to the GrandSport. And then they added tires. The original stock Z06 time was severely hampered by the shit runflat tires the car originally came with. And a 2010 ACR will run the same time as an 08 ACR.

You know what it took 3 years to do? Convince management and GM's lawyers to blur the lines between the trim levels and ship cars with "rain will probably kill you, 80 treadwear" tires.

And you can't even compare the ACR-X to either car because it is not street legal. This conversation has to stay ACR vs Z06/ZR1 and ACR-X vs Z06X to stay reasonable.

ok in light of all this, the zr1 2011 with just the better tires went 2 seconds better than it previously had gone. the viper acr did 1:22 since it was new in 08...no upgrades and no other car has gone quicker(save the lfa nur spec, and a couple non usa street legal cars). i'm sure there is a better set of tires they could throw on the acr and drop to 7:20 flat. the zr1 also has all the electrical nannies a person could want, the acr has abs...imagine it with stm and tcs...those alone could shave 5 seconds or so

the biggest concern is why the hell do we discuss this, 7:20 is f'n quick nomatter what car does it. hell only 15yrs ago we broke 8:00, now we have sedans that run under 8.
