My new Grand Sport
Just picked up my 2011 Grand Sport at the dealer on Saturday. Black/black with 4LT interior, dual mode exhaust, comp gray wheels and Nav. All stock for the time being.
Put about 80 miles on it Sunday. What a blast!! Obviously, not as strong as my former Z06 but damn nice and plenty of power for what I am looking for.

Does this not have the same motor as the Z06? Or was your Z06 modded, so this feels slow? Looks awesome.

The A&A kit, FTW!

Thanks for the compliments
No, the Grand Sport has the widebody like the Z06 but has an LS3 engine with 436/HP and 436/TQ where the Z06 has the LS7 427 engine with 505 HP/TQ. The Grand Sport manual also has the same brakes, dry sump oil system and some other goodies that the Z06 has.
No, this car does not feel slow. Where I feel the most difference is in 1st and 2nd gear where the Z06 just has more useable power. The Grand Sport will do 12.2 at about 118 in the quarter mile bone stock.Last edited by alms21; 04-19-2011 at 01:50 AM.
