Cool White Viper ACR Photoshoot. Mojave Desert. Dusk. 12 Images.

    ...And I'm back.

A bonus 45-minute session with what was essentially only a prop for my 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 & 2011 Dodge R/T Family Press Release session four weeks ago, to showcase the towing abilities of the new Durango R/T: 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 & 2011 Dodge R/T Family - Official Press Release (That was on the first day of shooting, and once I took that shot, the need for the Viper was over. However, since our drivers towed the car out from LA and they only had one support vehicle between the three of them, towing the Viper back into town after the first day was out of the question. So... we ended up trailering it around from location to location. It was pretty weird; Grand Caravans and Durangos and Chargers the center of attention and nobody even taking a second glance at the forgotten white ACR).

However, on our third and last day out in the desert, I called it a wrap on the official photoshoot with less than an hour of sunlight left, and after a quick talk with my two assistants William Stern and Dejan Sokolovski, the three of us decided together: UNLOAD THE VIPER!

And so we did. An impromptu photoshoot out in the Mojave at dusk. No lights, no assistance, each man for himself. This is why it's a relatively short session compared to my usual threads, and without any interiors, details or action shots; I had to stay out of frame for the two other shooters on the scene. And just wait until you see THEIR own artistic interpretations of the car... some stunning work indeed.

Lastly, some of you may know that since August, I've been shooting several of the official press releases for upcoming vehicles for Chrysler and Dodge (which should be obvious at this point in the introduction, haha). A dream job for certain, but one that inherently comes with a filled schedule... so I've been out of the 'privately commissioned' game for months now, and I'm only just now finding the time to get back into photographing cars for private clients again. While I don't have anything backlogged, I do have a couple interesting vehicles lined up for the near future, so expect to see some more extensive threads go up in the near future with some pretty cool cars. I also haven't been posting my commercial photography for Chrysler/Dodge on the forums, but the fifteen vehicles that I've photographed so far are easily viewable on my website if you're interested!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this little session in the meantime.

    'Til next time...

    -Webb

Great job as always Webb. Love the work you're doing with Chrysler and Dodge, can't wait to see future stuff!

Have the other 2 finished their shots of the Viper yet?

Dejan's about halfway through- should be a couple weeks before he posts up here though. But it'll be worth the wait... he captured some beautiful shots. Not sure about Will. He's got one image up on his flickr so far though.

    Thanks again, Jeremy!
