Default Burgundy Jake Edition Corvette C6 - PICS INSIDE

Some of you may have seen this already but Im reposting after I photoshopped together a compilation of photos into a mock "hero" card.

Its no secret that Corvette owners like to customize their cars. Even the manufacturers put out limited editions to satisfy the tastebuds of some. I had the opportunity to pick up another C6 for dirt cheap from a family member who was getting old. I had no control over the color of course but thought a GT1 edition might look cool in another color. I took this very low mileage C6, swapped in black headlights, added factory GT1 stripes, made custom "Jake" logos, and added "spyder" style wheels with a custom painted CRM lip.

    Meh, I'd rather have a stock Z06.

    Cool

I agree, The "JAKE" Edition is subtle and smooth like a large glass of Bailey's on the rocks, just enjoy the warm feeling you get from driving this car. The LS3 gets a few more ponies to the ground that just 436 too! I have seen lots of dyno sheets for stock LS3's pulling just over 400 rwhp. With a 15% loss through a manual trans pushes the LS3 crank hp up to 462. I would love to buy a JAKE Edition Corvette though!

Agreed. When it comes to stickers, unless you're on gR, less is definitely more.

    I think it'd look a lot better on a widebody/Z0/GS.
