A bunch of viper guys were at the track day and know the driver of the GT3, at points in the video you can even see him in a full fire suit.

There are other videos of regular Gen IV vipers eating a GTR alive etc.
Second:
I'm not a fan of comparing figures but in this case its a 8.4l 600 HP 740 NM V10 vs. a 3.6l 415 HP 400 NM flat six.
Nobody forces porsche to continue to use that size motor, as well it should be lighter, has better brakes, and from all the porsche fan boys should handle a million times better. Dollar for dollar, the ACR is a beast of a car.

Third:
The GT3 driver, pro or not, even though I cant see any advanced driving skill in that video, wasnt even trying.

Who ever is surprised by the viper being faster should refresh his knowlage a bit.
Well said sir, there is a reason the ACR holds the fastest Production Ring time

lol no other group of car owners get as defensive about getting their butt whooped at a track than porsche (mainly gt3) owners.

Sadly there are a lot of idiots without any clue about racing who get blown away when a 1000 HP bike is faster in a straight line than a 190 HP Honda civic.

Btw. I own and also used to own quiet a lot of other brands than porsche and there is a good reason why I sticked with the 996 GT3.

And also, I'm not hating on the Viper. As being said before- it used to hold the Ring record for a good reason and I respect it for that.

I just hate idiots who dont know what to compare with what.
| Some say_ that he's working on his 3rd million since the first 2 didn't work out.
