Renovations/Remodeling On The Water
My father purchased a house down here in Lighthouse Point over the summer and it's finally time to start doing a little remodeling and getting it cleaned up. Figured you guys would all enjoy seeing the changes, cause I love watching everyone else's projects as they come along. Only have a few pictures from when we were looking at it over the summer right now, but I'll get some pictures over the next couples days to show everyone some before photos. Not too much work has been done so far just shower doors in two of the bathrooms which cleaned them up a lot and some work on the dock in the backyard. Tomorrow the real work is going to start the master bedroom and bath is getting completely redone, the whole house is going to be repainted, living room updated, and the dining room is probably going to get turned into an office/theater.

Finally got my camera and got some more pics. Figure everyone's gonna love the mirrored powder room haha (the back of the door is mirrored as well)...had some good times in there but it's getting ripped out this week. Kinda crazy in here for a Saturday afternoon...got painters working, carpenters fixing all the molding, and a window tinter starting to remove all the tint (it's bronze and turns into almost a mirror and you can't see outside.) We're debating on having the wall unit restained and using it only as storage and for all the A/V components or just completely ripping it out and doing something else with the wall but we're definitely putting a bigger TV on the other wall next to the fireplace (not the one it's on now the one with all the patchings) and surround sound.

Backyards definitely the best part of the house...thanks for the compliments guys! Couple more of the backyard and boat and some of the master bedroom and bath. The master bath is getting almost completely redone all new cabinetry (dark wood), new countertops and sinks, marble floor is getting polished and the mirrors by the sinks on angles are coming down and the mirrors are all gonna get framed in wood. Took the tint of the windows in the bathroom and put up a frosted/matte white one so we don't need the blinds.

Yea that's my family's 550 Sundancer...great boat. More pics of the house to come soon, got all the tint removed so we'll be able to see out of the house at night now, all the molding has been fixed, just working on getting it painted now before the new flooring in the bedrooms and we get the new furniture in.
