    Default What's a cigar like?

I've never smoked in my life, partially due to my dad's extreme lack of health due to heavy cigarette smoking and sedentary lifestyle.

But... Lately I'm becoming curious about cigars. It started a while back when I really started saving more money than I ever have. I feel somehow like I deserve a cigar. It's strange.

I've always hated the smell but maybe it feels nice when you're the one smoking it...?

Weird situation. So, in your experience, what do you like about smoking cigars particularly, and for you, what's the perfect time to enjoy a cigar?

Smoking a cigar for me whether mid afternoon or later at night is akin to the feeling you get will cruising down the highway on your bike later at night or watching a sunset after a long day. Its a good way to sit back, relax and think about everything you have going and recompose.

My favorite part of cigar smoking is the camaraderie, I've been going to the same cigar lounge at least twice weekly for years (and even worked there for a while) so the staff and regulars have become extended family. What people say is true, you don become addicted to the act but the lifestyle.

its literally that feeling of relaxation and pondering that you get when your puffing on a nice cigar, i love those summer evenings chilling in the back yard looking at the view laying back. and yea its pretty much a lifestyle

I dont smoke anything but cigars. The perfect time to enjoy a cigar depends on what you have going on. All things equal I prefer late afternoon on the ride home or while drinking a glass of wine on the back porch before it gets dark. That being said, sometimes if I dont have meetings first thing in the morning, I love to smoke one on the way in. Kind of relaxes me and prepares me for the day. I dont drink coffee on those mornings because coffee ruins the taste of a good cigar. Can only drink a nice spirit or wine with cigars.

Speaking of that. Its about time for that ride home.
