    +1
First cigar I tried was a Cohiba toro probably not the best to start with but it was a nice cigar.

    perdomo chapagne.
I wish it was the first cigar i ever tried. It is incredibly smooth. And absolutely GREAT for the price.
I smoked one last week, and bought another yesterday.
I also like the 1926 Padron series, they are incredibly smooth. To me it felt like i was smoking cream.
Also liked a Padron 6000 torpedo, was a very mild and flavorful smoke.

I bought it as part of a deal and liked it because it wasn't too heavy. Now I'm starting to like heavier cigars, even though I think I'll still keep a few of these in my new humidor.

The tobacconist had a pretty small stock, but he recommended the Rocky Patel Decade. ...Reaaaallly like these.

That's a good choice as well, probably a little fuller than I would have suggested to a first timer but a very good stick nonetheless. However opinions aside all that matters is that you enjoyed it!

Great suggestions so far. Another one to add to the list, PUNCH.
