Advice on this humidor
Im thinking of buying a cabinet humidor for my collection...i have over 30 boxes of brand new cigars that are spread out in over 10 smaller humidors. I want to get more organized and i think this would also be the best way to keep them fresh. Let me know if anyone has one and what they think.

I have friends with this cabinet, works well.

This looks good, but I have some things to point out that you may want to consider before getting this.
First, how secure is the door? Make sure that it provides a good seal. Sometimes I have found the that the door is a little flimsy thereby allowing air/humidity to escape.
Second, from the pictures I don't see where the Oasis humidifiers will fit. Maybe the photos aren't allowing me to see the whole humidor/cabinet, but from what I am seeing I don't see where the units will go. I have a pretty decent setup and put the packages of my beads both at the bottom and top. The Oasis is a little different since it blows the air, so you'll probably want them at the bottom of the cabinet. It just doesn't look like there is room for them. The price looks good too. I have seen similar sized cabinets upwards of $1,500. Looks like this one is around $699, so the price is right. Just make sure the quality is good, the Oasis units will fit and you are good to go.Last edited by Scarhead; 07-15-2011 at 07:25 PM.

I know someone who has it. Looks nice but interior is poorly designed. You will have different RH readings and will have to rotate your cigars to prevent a dry/moist situation.
Cigars and cigar boxes obstruct the holes in trays and there is no space in the back of the cabinet (back of the trays) for humidity to rise.
If you want the best cabinet humidor in the world, this is what you get:

As long as the humidifier inside does a good job and that the humidor is well built, a tiny bit of humidity escaping is actually a good thing.

That cabinet could work with a few bags of beads and oust fans spaced throughout the different layers. Just take your time seasoning it and get the RH stable before stocking it.
