Default storing boxes in cabinet humidor?

Just purchased large cabinet, was wondering is it better to store boxes with top lid open/removed or just as is, closed and sealed. Any other advise regarding boxes storage would be much appreciated. Thank you

As long as the boxes are not sealed with plastic, you should be OK either way.

i unseal them to inspect what's inside, then stick the whole box in the humidor.

No problem storing cigars in boxes as long as the storage conditions are ideal. Most, if not all, cigar shops store in boxes.
