Cohiba Gran Reserva
Has anybody on here smoked this cigar? I want to try it but, cannot find anybody that can acquire this cigar. Anybody try it? Anybody have a connection so I can trade in my first born for one?

I have had one and did a review of it on another cigar forum. It was (and still is) hands down the best cigar I have ever had!
The flavors, burn, smoke were stellar and made for a fantastic experience. It took me about 2.5 hours to finish it.

Wow! 2.5 hours? That sounds like an amazing smoke. Would you say that it's the best smoke you've ever had?

great find if your able to get the real one. has to be one of my top 3 cigars to smoke.
World's shortest fairy tale... Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?' The girl said, 'NO!' And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf a lot and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up....

If you are going to try one of these I would recommend going to an LCdH and picking up the two-pack in the special little humi that Cohiba makes for these. The two pack runs about $300.
If you buy them online somewhere you need to buy a whole box of 15...
(as a side note I saw a box of these on news back in November during the seizures in Chicago. The inspecter was holding up the box and explaining how the cigars were going to be destroyed. I almost cried).

I was lucky enough to get a box awhile ago. I tried hard to ration myself but failed and smoked the last one about a month ago. They were fantastic.

What do you reckon the cost is?
I'm heading to Cuba in 2 months and contemplating getting a box down there.

Price varies between $1700 and $3000 for a box of 15; depending on region.
I am lucky to have 3 boxes (2 were gifts) sitting and aging some more and yes it is one of the best cigar I have had but I am not sure the price is justified.
An aged Cohiba Siglo VI and the most recent Cohiba Behike BHK56 are very close competitors.
The stellar price, I believe, adds to the "psychological" enjoyment.
