    Default First timer

    Hey Everyone

I want to smoke my first Cigar in the coming weeks, but dont know which one I should start with. I am not a smoker, but
really want to try a cigar and feel that feeling you all always describe. Basically something that is about 4-5 inchs and is light.
Any suggestions and tips for me.

    Thanks.

Well first off, I would suggest a Robusto size, its 5 inches long and has a ring gauge of 50. I prefer these now a days because it seems like all of the flavor is packed into a nice little package.

For a beginner, I would always suggest a lighter cigar. Two cigars that come to mind immediately are the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Champagne Series and the 5 Vegas Gold.

There is also one brand of cigar that always gets any first time smoker hooked, and that is the Acid line by Drew Estate. I suggest the Acid Kuba Kuba or Acid Tea Leaf. They are "aromatic" or flavored cigars (not the same as those machine-made swisher pieces of $h!t that you can buy at a gas station). They are expertly made and hand crafted just like any other good cigar

Thank you so much. Right now in my online cart I got a acid Kuba Kuba and a rm 101 cigar. Also I was thinking of purhasing a 4 pack of Padron for the box to store my other 2 cigars. Storing other cigars in a padron box is that ok? Any other suggestions/tips would like to purchase this tonight.

I went to my local cigar shop when I had my first cigar and asked for opinions there. It's nice when people who know their stuff are showing you different choices compared to people online just rattling off names that may not be offered at your local shop IMO.

Well I am thinking of purchasing it online at Serious Cigars Premium Cigar Shop Cigar Store & Accessories.

Is it ok to store different cigars in the same box.

yeah, just dont keep them in the same humidor!

Sampler packs are great. They let you try a bunch different cigars for cheap.

You can keep cigars in the wooden boxes that hold other cigars; just make sure there's some kind of humidification in them like Humi-Pillows or a Boveda Pack.

    Good sites are cigarsinternational.com, cigarmonster.com, cigarbid.com, famousmokes.com, and thompsonciars.com.
