Mainly the size difference, The smoothness, flavors, however can vary ever so slightly. The spice/wood/ and overall taste is generally the same throughout all of them. The other difference is ring gauge which can also change smoothness/flavors, but mainly the time length of the smoke.
Break down in length.
Siglo I - 4" , Perla, a petit corona
Siglo II - 5⅛" Mareva, a petit corona
Siglo III - 6⅛" Corona Grande, a long corona
Siglo IV - 5⅝" Corona Gorda, a grand corona
Siglo V - 6¾" Dalia, a lonsdale
Siglo VI - 5⅞" Cañonazo, a robusto extra
Generally a good rule of thumb is
The smaller the Cigar, the more you taste the wrapper.
Larger the more you taste the filler, to me a Robusto size give you a good presentation of both wrapper and filler, however with something as tasty as a Cohiba Siglo, I like it to go a little longer and the III has been perfect.Last edited by Bsaint; 02-09-2012 at 04:52 PM.
