If you like to smoke, invest in a nice humidor. It's functional and its a nice piece of art/furniture that you can have in your home. Money is just money until you use it to buy something that you value more than the dollar amount you spent.

I'll definitely be getting a 50 stick humidor sometime before summer. I want to get it stocked up for the daily BBQs! But for now, just transporting the one or two a week supply is working great with the xikar travel 10. Smoked my first Padrons this week. Most amazing cigar I've smoked, Period. I can't wait to get a sampler of 'em.

so future brother in law decides to put his half smoked padron back into the travel humidor...any way to repair this? Smells absolutely disgusting. I'm afraid to use it even to transport home to the humidor.

Let it breathe for awhile somewhere dry. Leave it sit for at least a week or so and give it a smell test. That should clear it up, if it doesn't just wait a little longer and the smell will eventually go away. Make sure to leave it open and sitting out.
I did the same rookie mistake to mine while in the Dominican at a Cigar Factory. They gave us samples and I smoked it half way and thought if I cut off the end it would be fine, wrong. All I did was let it air out for awhile. Mine is the small 5 finger Xikar carrier.Jason
