For members that live in LA.. Fat Stogies in Encino has a lounge area indoors where you can smoke. I go there almost daily after work. It's next door to a Starbucks so you can grab a coffee to enjoy with your smoke.
Hey Amiee, your joking about the Havana room right??? They wouldn't have to abide by those rules being that they are private I hope? What's the scoop?

We already have smoking ordinances in Nevada that prohibit smoking in places that serve food. In our case it was a political move by the casinos to ruin neighborhood gaming. It forced restaurants with bars to either give up their gaming machines, or food. Or, they could completely rebuild their property to have the bar enclosed, including separate climate control systems. This required people to get to the bathrooms without going through the "smoking allowed" areas, so bathrooms often had to be moved as well. VERY EXPENSIVE!
Oh, I probably forgot to mention that the casinos were exempt!
This isn't an issue that I take sides on, I do marketing for casinos and neighborhood gaming, so it was interesting to watch that fight play out.

"We were never satisfied being status quo. We were never OK just getting by. We pushed and drove at everything we have done in our lives to succeed in spite of those around us that would hold us back and naysay us. We finally realized that we needed to make our own rules to do things better. 99% of the people in this world do not understand us and what drives us.

We got this law up here too. No one really tickets you here. I've smoked at patios all the time, I highly doubt bylaw will be actively ticketing people smoking within those limits.
