Default 2009 DMV L4P Holiday Smokeout

    Hey Everyone.

It would be great if all the cigar lovers in the Md, DC, and Va area could get together to celebrate the Christmas and New Years holidays. I know its a bit cold to break out the cars, so we'll hold that thought until the weather breaks in 2010. But for now, what better way could we wrap up 2009 and enjoy the holiday season that over a good cigar and drink (whatever floats your boat).

We're all set for this coming Saturday December 19th. I know its a bit short notice, but we have the tobacco shop finalized and its the last "free" Saturday before Christmas and New Years.

In the spirit of the holidays, everyone who plans to attend will be part of a holiday cigar draw. Respond back with your name and preferred cigar strength. We'll put all the names in a hat and draw. Whoever you pull, you can buy a cigar for. Brand is up to you as long as you keep it at the designated strength.

Back to the venue. It all takes place at the Tinder Box, 2754 Crain Highway in Waldorf MD from 8:00 AM until 10:30 or so. If you plan to attend, please respond via PM or post response by Thursday the 17th.

Everything is all set ladies and gents. Only thing that's missing is your face in the place. Hope to see you there!

    Craig

    I'll be there.

As for strength, give me something mild with a flavorful kick like a Havana Honey. No really, on a serious note, I would prefer anything Maduro.

This is a fantastic idea! It'd be good to put some faces to the handles on here.

Sadly, I can't make it this weekend. Next time I'm in DC/Bethesda I'll post up here to see if anyones around though.

I wish I did open my own shop but I can't claim it as my own. But hey, you never know what the future holds.

We'll definitely try to plan something for the next year. I'm hoping participation would be way up when the weather breaks.

Get the word out everyone. We're still a go for Saturday!!
