    Thumbs down gah, MOLD!

the little voice in my head told me to check the humidor tonight.

sure enough, tiny tiny specs of black mold starting to grow on the humidifier. ugh. piece of crap.

it's time for a new humidor and digi hygrometer.

i guess the CI humidor can stick around for the cheap smokes i give people that dont know what theyre smoking

distilled, was even very sterile about filling it and all that... no idea as to the % RH as it was such a small humi i had no hygrometer in there... but with close to $300 in cigars that was a stoopid idea.

not so bad... i lost $1200 worth of cigars last year to beetles. i was given cigars that were infected and wiped out my whole humidor.

yea you need a hygrometer... your humidour most likely was too humid hence the formation of mold.

In most cases cigars get beetles from an infestation within the cigar retailer's store. Many manufacturers put there cigars through a process to eliminate beetles & bugs.
