Default pairing cigars with a drink

What are some examples? For one, what I absolutely love is to have a nice mild cigar and a coke or pepsi, for me it heightens both taste and increases the enjoyment for me. I also like to pair certain light beers with dark cigars and dark beers with light cigars.

any recommendations?

I'm a mild lover and will usual puff on one with a good cup of coffee. Depending on the flavor of the coffee you like, you'll really get the full taste of it.

Last combo was Romeo & Juliet with a house blend cup. I was experimenting that day and it wasn't too bad...not the greatest but I enjoyed it still. My favorite so far has been a Rocky Patel with a hazelnut flavored coffee. The Patel had a smooth autumn taste and it really brought out the hazelnut flavor. However, I wouldnt recommend adding flavored creamer with it, unless you really really love hazelnut or whatever matching flavored coffee you're drinking.

hm, I will try that out. Just a rule of thumb I always used was to contrast the two. IE a dark drink with a mild cigar

I've found a good scotch to be a perfect compliment to a cigar

Yep, light cigar or dark you can not go wrong with a nice single malt!! I do enjoy a vodka tonic or vodka and soda with a really heavy stick also!

Anything that is in the fridge is fine by me. $hit I'll drink chocolate milk with a cigar if thats all I have, and I'm Lactose Intolerance. As long as I'm smoking a cigar it doesn't matter what I have to drink. Just my 2 cents.

My favorite stright up drink is Congac XO with a medium to strong cigar. Zacapa 23 Anos Rum for a mild cigar.

And a new cigar drink for me is a French Connection. Half Congac and Half Grand mariner. The sweetness of the Grand mariner and the strong alcohol of the cognac meet at a nice place in the middle.
