Not sure if you guys ever make it up to Murfreesboro, but there's a B&M on the square there - 'The Humidor', I think it is. Pricing seemed to be about on par with other B&M stores I've seen. I've had good luck with 'famous-smoke.com' as an online vendor for large orders.

Went to a cigar shop on Sunset blvd in Los Angeles, and they are selling a house blend cigar for $22. Now I dont know if that was a good deal or a bad deal but I am assuming that because it is a house blend cigar, it should be cheaper. Am I right or wrong?

Depends on a lot of things, but primarily who made the house blend. Also, many house blends are not a unique blend, but just some mass produced cigar with a private label. I can say however that generally the sole purpose of "house blend" cigars is to absolutely rape the buyer on price.
I've considered my own label many times, but when decision times comes the businessman in me always wins over the cool guy in me.

It's amazing how much cheaper the cigar shop in my college town is compared to the one I was talking about at the beginning of this thread.
For example, the Oliva Serie V was about 6.75 here at college and about $12-13 bucks at the other cigar shop in Franklin lol.“My interest in life comes from setting huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them… from the perspective of wanting to live life to the full, I felt that I had to attempt it.” – Richard Branson

Hit up Burns Tobacconist since you're in Chatt. They have a SWEET selection of cigars- Viaje, Emilio, Padron's, Tatuaje HTF's, Liga's and Fuente HTF's.

My local cigar shop is quite over priced, for a Padron 45 Family Reserve it's £40 for one which works out to 70 Dollar's so i normally just get a buddy of mine to post them from the US which works out a lot cheaper.

So I just went into this shop tonight, Old Havana, and they were closed. The guy came up to the door and said he bought Old Havana and is going to rename it to Franklin Smokeshop or whatever.
About time this place went out of business. It was too over priced and they never got any business. I wasted too much money here honestly.
But then I went across the street to Stogies and they actually had a great selection at a great price!!!“My interest in life comes from setting huge, apparently unachievable challenges and trying to rise above them… from the perspective of wanting to live life to the full, I felt that I had to attempt it.” – Richard Branson

Are you buying it at a cigar shop and do you smoke it there or you buy the stick and leave? If you smoke it there, I think the price is fine. It's like comparing the price of a beer at a bar vs supermarket. Now if you're just buying the stick and leaving, I would buy it somewhere else. Buying it online is hands down the best value.
