lol very true.
I've done it before and It's never the same, it'll taste burnt, burn very hot and taste pretty bad. IF you MUST do it I'd recommend doing it faily soon into the cigar and also cut further down where parts of the cigar haven't been exposed to the heat. It still won't be the same as a fresh cigar, but it's not as bad. But that is also the key in picking the right cigar for the occasion, pick a size that you will be able to smoke all in one shot.

^^^You should try some cigarillos for a short 5 minute smoke. I bought a box of 50 for $20...Alta Gracia Irish Creme Cigarillos...surprisingly enjoyable and full of smoke.

The AF Hemingway Short Story is a great little smoke. One of my customers smokes them like cigarettes! He smokes a half a box a day, but I don't complain.

Jim...the Short Story, Work of art, Between the Lines, Love Story, and Love Affair are great short smokes from Arturo Fuente...Thank goodness I'm boxed up on each of them because they are hard to get!

For a short smoke I buy tins of cigars. Either Padron maduros or rocky patel vintage 1990.
They come in tins of 6 I think for around $17 and are a good 10-20 min smoke.

The AF Short Story's are awesome! Great little cigar that can take anywhere from 30-50 minutes depending on how quickly it is smoked. The Maduro version are extremely tasty, although they are a bit pricey and harder to find.
