Default Advice for a son in law.

Hello everybody I'm wanting to buy some really nice cigars for my father in law. He's an experience smoker and prefers a darker or full smoke, does anyone have any suggestions of some good brands something maybe he hasn't tried yet. Thanks

^^^ Look up. One of the best in the business is sitting right above "Padron".

    welcome to l4p

What Raw says...if you're buying blindly and for someone who knows cigars, most any smoker will appreciate Padrons.

However, there are many other options, many of which would be more creative and unique. Although a wonderful gift, anyone can go buy and gift a box of Padrons. If you want to get creative and "go the extra mile", look for Opus X, Liga Privada or My Father.

    Just some suggestions.

Box of Padron 80yr Anniversary Maduro or Naturals...beautiful cigar, great taste, and excellent body. If I got a box of them from my son-in-law then I'd appreciate the heck out of it...

Here's what I recommend in order from highest to lowest recommendation:

Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig (FFP)
Liga Privada No. 9 or T52 in any size
Padron Family Reserve 85th or 45th
Padron 1926 or 1964 Sampler pack
    Padron 1964 SI-15 (smoke-inn.com exclusive)
    Tatuaje Little Monsters
    Tatuaje Anarchy (smoke-inn.com exclusive)
    Tatuaje Black Petit Lanceros
    Tatuaje J21 Reserva
    Tatuaje 7th Capa Especial
Fuente Fuente Opus X, Lost City, Forbidden X
    Casa Fernandez Miami Blend Reserva
Any My Fathers or Jaime Garcia

^^^Great selections...gotta add the Family Reserve No.46...I had one this weekend and it is a great blend. The SI-15 is not in production anymore but I've talked to them and they mentioned that it was so popular that Padron will be releasing the same blend and size sometime in late Summer/early Fall for widespread release. I've staked 5 boxes already... They wouldn't take a deposit due to uncertainty for release, though.

You can never go wrong with Padron's

Personally I'd get him a box of Don Pepin Garcia My Father. Not just because it's a great cigar, and very affordable, but because of the message in the name. "My Father" for your Father in law kind of a nice gesture, but thats just me. I'm corny like that.
