Stereo upgrade for Mercedes g55
Hi guys. My 05 Mercedes is in the shop getting a paint job. I would like to upgrade the stereo to great double din with navigation and speakers and amp. I haven't played with stereos since college and am wondering what the best setups are for this car. Is alpine still the best. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We have done several G Class audio upgrades. We proudly sell Alpine, Kenwood and Pioneer. They are the top 3 manufacturers of double DIN radios. All of them offer something better than the other and pricing is usually within $100-$200 of each other. Please check out all the models on Al & Ed's Autosound - Car Audio Systems including Car Speakers, Subwoofers, Amps, HD Radio, Satellite Radio, GPS Navigation Systems, Car Alarm and more Car Stereo Equipment at Al & Ed's Autosound and PM me for special L4P pricing ince you decide which one you want. You will also need to have a custom dash kit frame created since there is no aftermarket dash kit available.

I'm with the OP. IMO the stock Bose system is completely antiquated and can certainly be improved fairly inexpensively by upgrading the amp, speakers and subwoofer.
