Default Only one side speakers work.

I just recently had some audio stuff put into my 02 Lexus IS300.

    Sony double din head unit
    2 memphis door speakers
    2 memphis rear deck speakers
    2 memphis door tweeters
    1500 watt rockford fosgate amp
    1000 gravity amp
    2 twelve inch kicker l5's

When I was driving yesterday, out of nowhere only the front right memphis speaker was working plus the subs, nothing else. Then I let my car sit for a few hours, went back and every speaker worked great. But then this morning same thing happened, so I stopped playing the music, 5 minutes later it worked again... then it went out after 10 minutes of playing. Only the front right door speaker worked and the subs.

I looked at my amps, the rockford fosgate amp goes to my subs, the gravity amp goes to my door speakers and tweeters. There was black goo all over the cables, not sure what it's from but is this the cause? What would make the speakers cut out? I just spent a lot of time and money on this setup and I want everything to work perfectly.

    Thanks for any responses.

After carefully reading everything you've posted.... i"ve come to my conclusion.....

    You're shit is broke.

    ... seriously,

make sure your RCA's are connected behind the radio and at the amps nice and tight. If they are, you;re going to have to start following the wires back from the amps to the speakers to make sure nothing is pinched, broken, torn, grounded, or anything else.

    good luck
