Laser jammers
hey all, this thread is NOT about radar or laser detectors, i.e. the v1 or lower-end escorts. this is solely about laser jammers.
my question is, how well do these things really work? which ones are best? i've heard escort 9500ci and the blinder m' are the best; is this true?
finally, does anybody know the answer to this IMPORTANT QUESTION: in which regions of the country do police mainly use laser, and in which radar?01 Mustang SVT Cobra

they are used by state troopers and US marshalls. He uses it to track other radar jammer users. It is built into a gps unit and gives the signals through the monitor. Not available on the market as i stated and there is a reason why. Street racers in japan are said to have them and have seen smoky from top secret with one in his v12 supra.

Most police officers are equipped with radars built into their cruisers. These are not handheld devices (typically). Cops can also be trained to use the laser gun. This is a point and shoot device that allows the cops to get an accurate reading of speed from a large distance.
I suggest using the K40 Calibre system. This is a hidden radar detector with laser jammers. Everything is stealth and cannot really be seen, unless you look extremely close. This way, no matter what the cop is using you will be pretty safe. The cops typically leave their radar on so you will pick that up way ahead of time so you can slow down. If they decide to use the laser gun, you will scramble it and the gun will just read error, as if the cop did not hit the car correctly. Hope this helps.2010 Audi R8 5.2

I'm on the RadarDetector.net forum, and the Guys of LIDAR sing the praises of the Laser Interceptor.
As a standalone unit, the LI is tops. The Blinder is not bad; the LI is that much better. The LI can be integrated with the V1 for the best system. For states where open use is frowned upon/not legal, the 9500ci is a viable alternative.David McMahon

My Blinder M20 or M25 have never failed me ever. It's all about proper placement and understanding what they do. Depending on your car you might need 4 diodes for the front.
I don't know why the police would track jammers on a radar. Most cars have lasers built into their cars these days for their safety systems. Seems like every car would be on the radar then. Moreover, jammers actually only deflect laser not jam. Therefore, think of your car with laser umbrellas in front of it. As the laser hits them the jammers redirect the lasers away from going back to the laser gun. That's all they do. How or why that would be detected from a distance is beyond my thought. I could care less if they know I have jammers. I drive by twice sometimes just to check my jamming abilities. I know I'm jamming because as soon as I cut them off they stop trying to get a reading.
I too follow The Guys of Lidar and have always followed them. No matter what you need to understand what the jammers do and their placement. It's up to you make sure it's right and I'd trust only myself to do the job.
In the end, Blinder is the best IMO, have fun and read up."It's not what you do, it's how you do it.

My Blinder M27 saved my ass a few times on the Viper. i.e. shot at over 100mph and no cop following or pulled with no recorded speed and let go; California and Nebraska. I'm actually installing them on my Murci today.
A few friends with them have been saved a few times as well in Illinois and Michigan.
If you think about it, being saved once pays for the jammer.
