system design help
Recently picked up a 2011 Ford f150 DD with the factory sync and sony nav system. Sounds flat to me. Looking to upgrade door speakers/ a pillar tweets, sub and amp or amps.
Looking at getting the JL Stealthbox for the 09+ f150. It has the one jl 13" woofer. I like the idea that this thing looks factory but i'm not liking the price ($850). Would i do just as good getting a box and woofer? What would you recommend? Do any vendors have any experience with this thing?

Next up is power. I have a Alpine PDX5 that was powering everything in my last truck and it was adequate I thought but I was running a RF shallow draft 10 in a Thunderform. Will I need more power to push this stelathbox and my door speakers? One big 5 channel? Keep the pdx, use it as 4 channel for the doors and get a mono sub amp? 2 new amps?
Next up is signal. Do I use LOC? Or do I use something like a RF360 or JL cleansweep? How difficult are these things to hook up? Which one and why?
I'd be willing to purchase by email from our L4P vendors.

honestly, the StealthBox is the best solution if you are looking to keep a stock look in your truck. MTX makes their Thunderform thats $350 w/ a sub and $550 w/ a amp attached to it, but IMO, the JL is a better sounding unit.
the PDX5 should be okay, but you might find you want a bit more kick from the sub.Delta House Racing
