*Need suggestinos on products for a full system for endurance/charity/rally car*
For those in the know, im after specific products to build this system from, price isn't really an object but I'm not after top of the line just good sound, something on or between pioneer and JL.
constraints;
-Video and Music browsing and playable from the main head-unit (HDD preferred, or Ipod/Ipad is a possibility, don't want disks)
-Head-unit must be single din, therefore foldout screen
-a shallow mount sub in a small box (need to conserve space)
-2 coaxial's and 2 split's (6 inch for each)
-5 channel amp to run the lot preferably (will go under a seat)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, aiming to get this done in a month or two. Cheers"But what about speed?" "If your important, people will wait"

yeah i know, but for simplicity/reliability id rather the go to ipad if that's the case, its going to be going through the desert so will get shaken up a bit, car pc probably wont hold up, then there's the dust.

lowrance it is!
Think how cool it would be to have a rugged touch screen in it. have it with preloaded race notes, tunes, and track maps.
And they can handle dust, but I would have to look into it. Ive seen some that are submersible
you might wanna look at marine grade stuff too.JEEP: The dirtiest of the four-letter words

if you are looking for a great sounding speaker that wont kill your wallet, look at Focal speakers. Their K2 Power speakers are amazing.
JL makes great amps and subs but ive never been a fan of their coax or component speakers.
