Advice Needed: Is this $87 tint job for a 4-door car okay?
Our local Living Social is having a special on window tint ($87 for a 4-door sedan). I'm thinking of finally getting my old DD/Beater Passat tinted (probably 40 or 50%). They use these two brands: Concord and Global. Any experience with them?
Is $87 a decent price? I know nothing about tint. Anything I should look for or ask questions about? They have a lifetime warranty on fade, labor and materials. I'm basically looking for a slight tint to cut down on heat and UV for my kids.
I've been reluctant to spend any money on tint for this car since it does kid duty and is already 10 years old, but at this price it seems worthwhile. Thanks for the advice in advance!
UPDATE: Tint is done!

Sounds ok... Just scope out other cars they've done. I pay like $100 in Miami for 3M film.

I swear tint prices are all over the place. I paid $160 for all the windows on my C230, and some people tell me that's a lot.

I think I'll give them a shot. It's not much money and I'm sure it will make the kiddies happy for their car rides. Thanks guys!

You Florida guys seem to get 3M film installed for cheap (100-110 USD).
