Thread: good 7inch drop in

looking to replace the oem cd/tape deck in my stealth TT. I'm thinking a 7inch drop in dvd/navi/cd would be the best to update the interior on an almost 20yr old car.

i'm looking at 500-600 just for the head unit...and some good speakers to compliment the unit

if you want something good your going be around $850.00. For say a Kenwood KVT-516 would run you about 580.00 with ipod cable and figure 200-300 for 2 pair of good speakers. If your interested i could put something together for you and ship it out to you.

I just picked up the new pioneer touch screen. model number AVH-P5200BT. Its a 7 inch touch. DVD, Nav ready, bluetooth connectivity, usb port, and it works with my i phone and i pod very well. The bluetooth works really well too. Mos Def best radio ive owned.

cant do a slide out, my car's stock tape deck/cd is a one piece combo. i dont want a shelf under/over that i cant use when i'm using navi or something...does look nice though.

u say kenwood for the headunit, jl audio or pioneer for the speakers
