The sound SUCKS! But the speakers in the doors are 4"....How can I upgrade the speakers to get some decent sound? The car doesn't have an amp and everything runs through the stock head unit.

this company makes nice aftermarket solutions for BMWs specifically. You should be able to find some nice pieces to upgrade your OEM speakers. These will be your best bet without going nuts on custom fabrication and all.
