I want to upgrade the acoustics, any advice?
This is actually addressed to the A&E guys, since I'll most likely take my car there. I have a 05 Cayenne and want to upgrade the speakers. I graduated out of the dual 12" sub days weighing down my trunk and rattling my wing. I'm looking to add some more bass as well as some clarity in my music. Any advice is appreciated and obviously, I want something reliable but not something I don't need. Let me know!

what is your budge? dream results? i am not one of your a&e guys, but i have advice, take it or leave it.
if you are looking for quality bass but not size, weight etc, try either digital designs or elemental designs 6 or 8 inch subs. These are quality subs as good as 10's and 12's of many other brands and if powered correctly will have amazinig sq and spl.
fixing the wing is something you can do, i would personally recommend edead around the actual subs, and then figure out the wing situation. The Jeep is America's only real sports car

believe me, any advice is appreciated. i'll inquire about those 6 and 8 inch subs. those sound like they'll do the perfect job.

for bass - popular setup nowadays are those 6-8 subs under the seats, stealthy and u wont have to have a hot import nights audio set-up
for extra clarity - im pretty sure there are a few set-ups out there that will improve the sound of your truck while maintaining its factory appearance, just need a few good speakers and amps

The best setup on you car is focal 3 way in the front polyglass or Krx3, componets in the rear, a single 10" w3 or w6, pdx4150 pdx 1600, rockford 3sixty and your car is money. i have done this install over 100 times and it never fails. if you on a budget we can go with an LC8 by audio control poly glass componets and a w3. the amps hid under the panel in the passenger rear quarter panel and the sub goes on the driver side. I'll pm you.

for sure i dont want to add any enclosure of any type in the trunk. even though its pretty stealth, i still need as much trunk space i can get. i guess the best thing to do is bring the car in and sit down with you. once i get back from my travels, i'll roll throug and see you. do you work weekends?
