Some thought it wasnt possible.
Here we have a Toyota Tundra. Customer wanted some real good bass out of his truck. But the problem is that this truck doesn't have much space for subs. Customer didn't want to cut the bed to do a blow through and still wanted to keep all the space he can have. He took his truck to other places and all he got was " you can only stick 2 8" subs". He didn't want to here that. So he heard through the grape vine that we can make almost anything happen. We came up with an idea and brought it to his attention. He loved the idea an it was a big success. Below are descriptions and pictures to check out. Enjoy.
This is underneath the back seat.

We cut some metal to gain airspace for the subs we were using. Proper air space is extremely important.

This is what was lift after we used the plasma cutter.

We custom build a new floor and powder coated it inside and out so it wont rust.

This is the finished product. We used dynamat and build a fiberglass enclosure. Now this truck has 2 10" JL Audio subs and everything is functional.

thanks unlike the new version of the Tacoma the older ones don't leave you any room behind the seats or anywhere else for that matter. so for a client that want a lot of bass and doesn't want to see anything you definitely have to think outside the box on this one! luckily our guys are the best and any job i throw their way they knock it outta the park. when this truck was done it had a great amount of bass and the best part is when you looked at it you would never know it existed! thanks for the compliment!

damn have to look i might of. but the box didn't go past where it normally sits. all we did was just extend the opening so we can get some more room for the sub. looking underneath you would never know because we also coated the box we made and made it match the factory coating. so looking underneath unless you knew you probably wouldn't even put two and two together that it was really a sub box.
