Tinting options
Hey guys, new to the site.
A good friend is a week away from his 2010 S4 arriving and needs tinting advice. Thought this would be the place to ask.
Ceramic? or "huper optik"?
looks? performance?Last edited by Mburr; 01-13-2010 at 02:43 PM.

Ceramic IMO is fine. HO is overpriced.
Llumar or 3M has done well for my last 6 cars.
Not sure what they have in Toronto.
Congrats to your friend. Great car. I miss my B6 S4.

There is no specified limit in Ontario. The Highway Traffic Act says that the visibility can not/should not be obstructed... blah blah blah
People recommend that going 35% is as dark as you 'should' go so that you won't run into trouble.
His S4 is "phantom black" on black with the carbon fibre trim...

What kind of tint is it when it has a bit of a blue mirror to it, like the Lexus trucks and the Benzs? Is that sold aftermarket? Murdered out look is fine but its been done, I like to go classy - Aggressively
