I think you'll be happy with the 9500 IX.

Another thing i forgot to point out that was already mention was the GPS functionality along with being able to update the speed camers and such. Living in Dallas, they are starting to add more and more camera's im noticing along with those "your speed is ___" which usually i'll block out thanks to the GPS function. Makes going to work by fake signals less annoying.

I wont need that since they got rid od speed cams in BC lol But if it blocks out false alarms like when i go to the same parking lol then i'll drop the $500.

If i get it guess that means i gotta go through the u.s............ rally time ??..Gumball 3000 or GoldRush

The 9500xi is one of the best on the market. But if your going to get into like Gumball 3000 missions. Professionally, I would recommend stepping up and doing the 9500ci. But if you would like I would be willing to ship a 9500xi directly to you authorized with a full manufacture warranty. I have one in stock as we speak and A-E will allow me to make you a smoking deal. I think your in Canada and I'll hook you up on the shipping. Just Private Message me and let me know and we can work something out.

Anyone try the redline yet? I am also choosing between the redline and the 9500xi and am not sure what to get. The 9500xi has GPS, which allows it to locate speed traps, speed cameras, red light cameras, ect., but I heard that the redline is a better detector and has more features related to detecting radar. So, the question is, since I don't drive through red lights, is the 9500xi ability to predict where a speed trap is, actually good?

Escort may make the radar detector in the V1. I'll check my sources. I know escort provide raw units to K40.
