    we do not do stick shift cars, my installer has seen too many remote start stick shift incidents to risk it. my stick cars dont even have remote start

    That unfortunately is the stance a lot of installers are taking. I've seen some who have waivers signed saying if anything happens other than what it is designed to do the installer will not be liable.

    I've had remote start in all my cars minus this one (currently waiting for the unit to come in, apparently its been in transit for 5 months), I have never had a problem, I take that back I had one my roommate put my car in 1st a few winters ago so unbeknown to me the car didn't start. I had to go out to a cold as ice car. I was not happy.
