Default World’s most bespoke Tesla Roadster

Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood, CA customized this Tesla Roadster to match the owners Lamborghini.

When we were approached to create a custom one of a kind Tesla Roadster to match Lamborghini LP640 Roadster we could not wait to get started.

    Paint:

I will never forget the day when I picked up his car from the Tesla showroom paint ready in white primer. Since our customer’s Lamborghini is painted Giallo Orion (pearl yellow) he wanted the Tesla Roadster to be painted to match. After driving to our Al & Eds Autosound location in West Hollywood,Ca we immediately striped the interior and sent the car off to paint. We decided to ad some additional paint to areas that Tesla normally leaves in a matte black. The front defuser, rear tail light housing and rear defuser were also painted Giallo Orion.

    Interior:

The complete Tesla interior was completely reupholstered. Lamborghini authentic black leather an Alcantara suede were used throughout the interior.

The dash was reupholstered using both material components with a yellow double stitch to divide the two distinctive areas.

The steering wheel was also recovered in Lamborghini perforated leather and Alcantara suede and then hand stitched together with yellow stitching to match the dash.

The doors were completely reupholstered in leather with Lamborghini Q-Citura (quilted) style Alcanta suede inserts.

The rear wall on the car was reupholsted in Alcantara suede and received the Q-Citura quilted treatment throughout.

The seats match the same theme to complete the overall interior match to the Lamborghini LP640 Roadster however with embroidered Tesla logos on the headrest inserts. Since these materials are superior and softer than what the factory uses the seats are now more plush and comfortable.

Whatever was not wrapped in either leather or suede was covered in carbon fiber. All the factory plastic upper and lower dash components and door handle pulls were treated with carbon fiber. The factory door sills were replaced with new ones made completely from carbon fiber in an exact mold of the factory plastic ones.

Hand carved plush floor mats were made with the Tesla logo in yellow. Unlike the factory floor mats which a tendency to slip and move around these mats have rigid plastic spikes on the backside that prevent this from happening.

    Audio:

Taking our Tesla Audiophile system to a new level we used the finest components available.

Focal Utopia Kit7 three-way components were used. The factory installs 4″ round speakers in the dash of the car. We removed those speakers and custom installed the 3″ and tweeter component from the Focal Utopia Kit7 system. The doors were remolded to properly fit the 6.5″ bid bass woofer from the speaker set. The Focal cross block network was hidden behind the seats.

For bass a Pioneer TS-SW2501S4 shallow woofer was custom installed in a fiberglass enclosure in the passenger footwell area. Minimal legroom was compromised due to all the extra space the factory provides.

Hidden behind the dash is an Alpine PDX-5 amplifier totaling over 550 watts of power for the system.

All of this is controlled by a Kenwood KVT-614 am/fm/XM/cd/dvd/iPod/iPod video/navigation 7″ motorized touch screen radio. A back up camera was also installed and engages when the vehicle is put into reverse.

We also installed the Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 processor which offers 153 bands of equalization, time alignment and an independent subwoofer control knob. After we install this device and hook it up to our laptop and via bluetooth we can control and tune each speaker in the car independently in real time.

The system is powered by an independent 12 volt recyclable battery. Charging is required is done from a 110 volt plug installed in the mesh area of the rear defuser. A full charge is completed overnight and provides up to ten days of audio enjoyment before the battery will need to be recharged.

    Ticket Avoidance System:

We installed the Escort “Ticket Avoidance System” The controller is installed in the glove box and the front laser defusers are custom installed into the front grilles. The rear laser defuser installs in the same holes as the license plate screws. This system will warn the driver of upcoming X, K & KA bands of police radar while “defusing” laser guns.

    Bespoke Accessories:

The roof of the Tesla is removable making it a Roadster however once you take it off there is no proper storage cover. As part of our Bespoke interior we offer a custom cover made especially for the roof.

We also offer a matching leather bag for the 110 charging cable that comes with car.

Looks pretty sweet. May I ask whose Roadster this is? I used to work for Tesla and I'm curious if this is a client of mine. Thanks.
