Mac Mini Audio/Video Computer System
I'm thinking about creating a Mac Mini audio/video system with a 7" touch screen that was integrated with the iPhone for remote and wireless mouse purposes. Would this interest some of you if I got it fully functional and explained how to do it. I'm wondering if I should waste my time creating something like this. It would include building an audio/video control application for the mini as well as creating an iPhone app. Tell me what you guys think.

This has to be PC based. I'm an apple guy and think this would be pretty cool, plus the integration of the iPhone could be unique.

Sounds pretty interesting with the iphone. I have done a mac mini in a car before and it worked pretty nicely.

Yeah I'd love to see it. How did you handle the audio out? Did you use iTunes to control the audio?

the audio out was handled by running the computer audio out into a digital processor and then into the amplifiers. The system ran off of a ATT air card for internet and the driver used a thumb wheel mouse to control functions like itunes and nav from the mini. The processor has its own volume control knob that is mounted in the cabin also. I dont have any pics but will look around to see what I can find from the job
