Default Looking for some speaker help

Looking for some components for the front. Looking for 6.5 was also thinking of a 3-way setup.

Can someone recommend some brands to go listen too. Looking to be under 300-400 for the fronts. Powered by a jl 300/2

JL will be releasing a new 3-way in their C5 series soon. They should prove to be quite impressive.

I've always had great luck and sound from my Focals (have them both in the E55 and SL65) but that may bust your $300-400 budget. However, I also agree with TMAC JL separates are quality speakers too.

I've had them in other cars and found it is a balanced product (price vs. SQ)...good luck.

Very true, certain models of Focals will sound better than the C5s from JL but if budget drives your purchase the C5s should make you happy.

CDT Audio is perfect for your price range. Originally I ran the ef-61 components, but recently swapped out the speakers for the m6 model (more midbass). undefined Awesome audio company. Excellent customer service.

If you get a chance go and listen to some Boston Acoustic Pro's. I had them in my truck with a JL 300/4 powering them and a 500/1 powering my 12w6, it all sounded so good. They fit in to your budget as well...

Definitely Focal speakers. What type of car are they going to be installed in? I would love to offer you a special L4P family discount. PM me.

If you want a 3-way set up then I recommend Focal 165KRX3. They retail for $2,149. I will sell you a set for $1069 with FREE shipping. If you want a 2-way component set up then I recommend the Focal 165KRX2. I have these in my Lamborghini and they sound amazing. They retail for $1,699. I will sell you a set for $715 with FREE shipping. If you don't want Focal then we also sell JL Audio, Pioneer, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, or Kenwood. Let me know....
