Please correct me if I am wrong ...but I have never seen one and do not really understand why you would want one (for your car) simply because you could not tell a difference. High-definition television (HDTV) yields a better-quality image than standard television does, because it has a greater number of lines of resolution. The visual information is some 2-5 times sharper because the gaps between the scan lines are narrower or invisible to the naked eye. The larger the size of the television the HD picture is viewed on, the greater the improvement in picture quality. On smaller televisions (less than 17-20 inch) there is no noticeable improvement in picture quality.

There are smaller screens available (HD/HDI compatable) for video editing, broadcast, professional video and multimedia applications but they are going to run in the 3-5K range and would not be compatable with other applications (Navigation, Bluetooth, etc..) that you would desire in a vehicle...

Well yah.. you wont be able to really tell the difference with such a small screeen.. but wanted to do something quality wise similar to:

    Panasonic USA Pressroom

    but on a standable screen.

i guess it is a WSVGA screen.. so something similar would work, but the quality is ridiculously amazing. anyone know something that like taht is under 14, 15" and is screen only? would want to retrofit this custom in front of the passenger.

Thx in advance. Allyson, i PMed you lmk hehe.

As far as I know, for the 12v and mobile environment, 19" is as small as HD monitors go. That link you have is interesting but not a good application for custom install. I will keep an eye and ear out for any new updates on this issue.
