    Default Alpine downloads

    Allyson has a Alpine system and I have a Kenwood system. We both had the same exact trouble with the the DVD/CD palyer working with certain file types and the USB not being fast enough also had trouble with the bluetooth not finding our phones. I went to Kenwood's web-site and downloaded updated software, copied them to CD, put it in the headunit and it installed the new software. Done, fixed all problems and works like a dream. Then went to Alpine's website to do the same thing but they don't have anything listed, sent a email to them but got no response.

    My question is: does anyone know if Alpine has any software patches available related to fixing USB, mp3 files problems and also for Bluetooth phone updates? If so where do you get them?

    I believe it is the IVA-D100 or IVA-D105, but I'll have to check the exact number. It is last years model of the IVA-D106.
