A2DP Wireless Music Streaming...I have never been able to use this feature on either my Alpine IVA-D106 or the Kenwood DNX9140 in the LR, tried firmware upgrade and A2DP hack. Might concern issues with music format MP3, MP4, WMV but every thing loaded onto thumb drive plays perfectly on both!! Also can not get phonebook contacts to load no matter how long I wait it keeps the "Still Updating" message on screen ...Any advice or is there a firmware upgrade from Parrot for Alpine like the one we found from Kenwood?
Sorry that was misleading as I have a smartphone...Sprint HTC Touch PRO Pocket PC (AKA PPC 6890 recent upgrade from PPC 6700 ) I have an Ipod wired connecter and a USB port (both work perfectly regardless of the format MP4, MP3, WMV) I have just never been able to fully utilize the blue tooth features... Handsfree and voice recognition on Alpine Navigation works perfectly..I just have to dial contacts from phone (does not show up on screen) and can not get the music to stream from phone. Not really a big deal considering what all the system does (Sirius, Navigation, Bluetooth, Voice Command, Day Planner, etc.) Just wondered if outhers had resolved these issues with a hack or an upgrade?
