Thread: Alpine AM Module AI Net Question

I have an Alpine XM Module that I used on an older 7893 Alpine cd player. There is an AI Net input and output connector to connect to the cd player to allow XM Obviously. They make this connector below:



Can I connect this into the output and then use this connector to connect my ipod? I am assuming it will work but wanted to make sure it would work and if this is the best way! Im just being cheap since I have this deck and it still works great!

as far as i know you can't do that off of the xm unit. in order to use that adapter you have you need to be able to turn the aux on the radio on. alpine make another adapter that goes in line with the ai net where you can get an aux by flipping a switch. but that adapter won't work off of a xm unit.
