Default The ONLY Ferrari F50 with an audio system!

Al and Eds Autosound in West Hollywood,Ca has done something to a Ferrari that has never been done before!

When Ferrari designed and built only 349 F50 model cars that included everything that a super needs except one thing… A stereo system!

Al & Eds Autosound in West Hollywood Ca. designed and installed a “light weight” audio system for a “super light weight” car. Since the F50 did not come with a factory installed stereo we did not want to cut the dash to install one. So instead we mounted an iPod in the center console and that is how the music is controlled in the car.

Since there were no factory installed speakers we did not want to cut the factory carbon fiber doors to install speakers. Instead we fabricated out of carbon fiber and then wrapped in Alcantara suede new “A” pillar inserts that houses MB Quart Q-series 4″ and tweeter component speakers. These new pillars can be removed and no harm is done to the factory pillars.

To complement the fron speakers a Pioneer shallow 8″ subwoofer was installed in a custom fabricated enclosure made out of carbon fiber and wrapped in Alcantara suede. This was mounted on the rear shelf between the seats.

To power the system we used an Alpine PDX-4.150 amplifier totalling over 600 watts!

The factory exhaust system was replaced with a Tubi system that includes straight pipes.

After the installation we received special recognition by Robb Report Magazine in a full article.

Thats an insane install. So clean and I love how you specifically designed it to be lightweight and removable/revertible back to stock so it won't affect resale.

nice job on the clean install and props for using cf!

Does the car have a new owner now? Someone needs to smack the prev owner who thinks an f50 needs giant shields on the seats and more stickers in the lic plate spot to let all the mortals know he's rockin a ferrari...$ ≠ class

Those seats are killing me! Looks like you guys did a great job installing the stereo and making it removable.

I wonder the same...how far does the owner drive this car? Is it a DD? Why would you need a stereo for short runs with such a beautiful sound resonating from the rear of this beauty!
