Thread: Rolls-Royce Drophead Audio Upgrade & 26" Wheels

Fact: The factory sound system in a Rolls-Royce Drophead is horrible.

The answer is this audiophile upgrade that we did.

The front speakers were replaced with Focal Utopia Kit No.5 component speakers. These car audio speakers are the best and most expensive in the world. The rear speakers were replaced with Focal 100 KRS component speakers. Under the front two seats were the factory 8" subwoofers. We replaced them with new 10" shallow woofers in a new custom enclosure. The Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 EQ Processor was installed to interface the factory system with our equipment. Two Alpine PDX Series amplifiers were custom installed in the trunk totaling over 1,800 watts or power.

Bottom Line: If you want your car stereo to sound right, take it to Al & Ed's Autosound in West Hollywood.

BTW... I think that we must be the only shop that has ever done an audio upgrade in a Drophead?
