Thread: Business Name Needed

As some of you know I have a small business idea being brewed up. Everything has hit really hard in the past week and its getting busier and busier. I have a site developer, a junior but I think she will put a little effort into it but she requires a few things to get started. I originally locked down a name but scrapped it last week because it was based more on an incorporated business all following "PR" then the company field like PR Automotive or whatever. I didn't feel this fit, I want something more direct so I'm here to ask you all for help for this is the ONLY thing holding me back from going full out and getting this business rolling.

The company is supplying titanium, stainless steel and aluminum fasteners for race cars, tuners, motorcycles and to whomever may need bolts in these materials. Based online in Ontario Canada I plan on breaking through with the Northern Automotive Enthusiast forums as well as L4P and a few others. This is just the beginning to many many expansions. I have a great supplier so far, and customers waiting for me to get rolling.

I'll be supplying flanged bolts, dome head, counter-sunk bolts, tapered socket (allen key) parallel socket (no taper allen key) race bolts and stainless wire, washers in a wide array as well as flanged nuts, bi-hex nuts (12 point), 1/4 turn quick release, spike bolts, castilated nuts. In a wide array of colors depending on the material (8-9 in Aluminium, 4 in Titanium and Polished Stainless)

I do not want to use my name, just incase the business is sold, passed down or transferred to another owner. It will score less money if its named after a specific person

I am supplied from a different company focused in a different field. I am my own company though.

Been a very busy week, names, domains, hosts etc.

I'll be looking into it over the next week or two. The site itself won't be up for about a month because of all the work that it will require.

David@MR gave a little twist to 4drian's post to come up with Performance Hardware. Which I think works fairly well but seems like its missing one word. Not sure if I want to put "Canada" or any geographical bind to the business.

I could just incorporate it, even though in my other thread "Sole proprietorship vs. Incorporated" I've stated that I was going to go Sole P. for this business then transfer to incorporated. However I think Performance Hardware Inc. works fairly well?
