I sold my company, and now I just do stuff i dont want to, so i dont have to sit at home bored all day.

I got to work in a very very very high end data center and decided that will be my next venture.

I'm currently interviewing to work in one...but I don't think that counts.

I help architect environments that go into data centers.

Your next venture as in you are planning on building a data center to use as a hosting facility?

I believe fusionstorm sells in this industry in the Bay Area. Might want to reach out to him.

I've done some security reviews of Data Centers, back in the day...

We've built a few. Think The Planet on a smaller scale. Both voice and data / switching / colo / pop, etc. in Las Vegas and LA.
Will share what I can if you wish.

Besides fulfillment of infrastructure hardware/software, my company offers managed hosting and remote managed services at a number of data centers in the US, EU and Asia-Pac.

To the OP, if you want to work in the best data center in the world, go to Las Vegas. Switch Communications SuperNAP facility is as state of the art as you will find anywhere. It's where I would go if I were in Vegas when the zombies attacked.
When I'm not here, I'm slinging IT infrastructure or gone golfing
