Everything said here are very good points. Looks a little too basic, almost like a spam site...hate to say it. But a good idea I think. A zip code search would be good....but what is better is good reviews from good detailers. I can use google just as easy to find more detailers...at least that is my first thought. Just trying to be helpful, not dickish lol
Also, the "state" picture for North Carolina is actually New York lol

M6cabrio...thanks for pointing that out. it has been fixed. im going to start today searching for a new template. im NOT a web designer and this is my first site so I really do value the feedback from you all. as of this morning I have 45 detailers listed to the site! thanks again!

Not bad, previously mentioned very basic. The only thing that really sticks out to me is the list of states being way too long. I would suggest a map that links to the detailer pages rather than a long list of links that you need to scroll for.

If i were you, I would remove the ads for now until you get more traffic.

I would go with some new graphics on your logo and home page. IMO the ones on your site are too dull. L4P does an excellent job with the images on this site.

Hey man i own a few websites myself (not a pro yet but am learning) so i decided to chime in here. I am not a website designer as well, but as the creator of the website i am sure you have a vision. Something i learned early on is share the vision with a designer and let him be good at what he is good at. They are very easy to find and affordable, it is worth it in the long run because websites, like many other things, only have 1 chance to impress someone. So hire someone for a few hundred to install WP with a nice theme and just focus on building content and value to the website.
i agree with SBasham, once you have some value to the website and you start getting regular traffic i would then implement advertising, but i think placing ads up when it first launches makes the website look cheap, besides you wont be making much from them until you generate a significant amount of traffic.
Just my opinions brother, i wish you luck on the site its a great idea!

OK I took all this advice and will be re-designing the site next week. plans are for a new (modern) template, a clickable map of the US on the home page and getting rid of the long side navigation in exchange for a drop down menu from the top nav. I will also be hiring a graphic designer to re-do the main graphic for the home page. Ill post up again when it's ready.
