    A lot of people also assume the top guys in these tech companies have that money that they are claimed to be worth, in their bank accounts. A lot of these tech companies are "air" valuations... nothing is being sold, no money is being made as of yet. The potential is just great. Some are smart enough to ride the hype and sell some of their ownership to outside investors just to cash in a bit as a safety net. I recently heard that Zuckerberg unloaded some (very few) of his shares to outside investors for about $1billion
