    Default eCommerce owners!

Those of you with an eCommerce business, who do you use to host your site? And what do you like/dislike about them? Have my domain name purchased now I'm looking around for a host. I was going to use Godaddy for the time being as that is where my domain was purchased from but any other ideas and experiences would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hostgator or Bluehost.....

I've been using Hostgator for over 3 years now and have never any problems with them

GoDaddy just doesn't sit right with me....ever since they prompted me to give ID twice just for a single domain purchase...I've never really liked them....then there is the issue of even-after-you-switch-it-off domain autorenewals ...just downright grimey shit.

If you do decide to go with hostgator, let me know. I'll slide you my affiliate link

I have my domain with go daddy and use gator for my host. Never a problem with Gator for me and recommend it to anyone looking for a host.

I am deciding between different shopping cart providers to supply shopping cart and hosting.

We used godaddy for a little while for both of our sites, but it was always crapping out, and then our one site got locked, we can't get access to it, and it's just a cluster f*ck. I honestly don't know who is hosting it now, a friend of ours is taking care of that for us. But I'd recommend against godaddy.

We have narrowed it down to Volusion or 3dcart and are in negotiations with both.

We use Volusion for both of our online stores and are very happy with them.

i've helped a few friends w/ e-junkie as cart & dreamhost as host. imo, this is the quickest way to set something up & see if it works. if it does, you'll probably graduate to a better host.

this assumes you already know how to create html pages & have an SEO baseline. if not, some of the do-it-all software might be better for you; but most are far more complicated than they should be.

I'm looking at the "Gold" package. Do you have any experience with the services offered under that?
